Where greatness is our expectation

7th–12th Grade Boys’ Academy and Prep School with Elite Basketball Training

Cultivating scholars, developing leaders, and training elite athletes.

At The Gillion Academy, we offer a one-of-a-kind, college-preparatory program that integrates accredited academics with elite basketball training—all under one roof. We provide a 360-degree approach to student-athlete development, combining rigorous education, life skills training, and year-round basketball led by Division I and professional-level coaches.

With deep roots in both education and athletics, our leadership team has helped over 200 athletes reach the collegiate level—and over 50 athletes go on to play professional basketball. Located in the DMV area, we serve middle school, high school, and prep school athletes who are ready to grow in the classroom, on the court, and in life.

Our Core Values

Hard Work Accountability Leadership

At The Gillion Academy, our core values are built on hard work, accountability, and leadership. We expect every student-athlete to give their full effort in the classroom and on the court, to take responsibility for their growth, and to lead by example—uplifting their peers and setting the standard for excellence. These values guide how our students train, study, and prepare for life beyond the Academy.

Life Skills Program

We know that success in life takes more than talent. That’s why we provide intentional, daily training in the skills that help boys grow into mature, capable, and confident young men. Our Life Skills Program is integrated into the academic and athletic experience—reinforcing discipline, leadership, and purpose in everything we do.

Real stories. Real impact. Discover how The Gillion Academy is making a difference.

They've made my son and us feel like family from day one, made us comfortable from the start. One of the main takeaways we've seen so far is our son's defense has really improved. So it's really nice to see that all the hard work that they're putting in to him is paying off.

First of all, academically, he's thriving and doing really well. He has close to a 4.0 average. The coaches are fully invested in not only his academics but also building his basketball skills. And the coaches really care about these kids.

Sophia R., Parent

Your son is going to be taken care of. Once I came to this environment, to the Gillion Academy, I tell you, you know your son's taken care of they, they put his well-being first and then everything else is after.
